"Go Vegan" with Bob Linden
Sunday evenings at 9 on Troubadour 1700...

Go Vegan

Troubadour 1700 and Liberty & Justice 1640 support the evolution to a vegan-whole grains-organic diet, lifestyle, and value system. Our needless meddling with the animal kingdom, with millions of animal executions per day, have ruined our health, our environment, and even our thought processes and genetics. A vegan diet and lifestyle produces many immediate benefits. But we also believe it will produce future generations that are more sane, productive, efficient, peaceful, and loving, and a human race that is more physically, intellectually, and spiritually attractive.

The owner of this radio station has been 95-98 percent vegetarian since 1992 and 95-98 percent vegan over most of this decade. The improvements each step of the way have been more than obvious.

The shocking facts about meat and dairy consumption

"Nothing will benefit human health and increase chances for survival of life on Earth as much as the evolution to a vegetarian diet."
-Albert Einstein

"Put a baby in a crib with an apple and a rabbit. If the baby eats the rabbit and plays with the apple, I'll buy you a new car."

-Harvey Diamond

"The human body has no more need for cows' milk than it does for dogs' milk, horses' milk, or giraffes' milk."
-Michael Klaper, M.D.

"I don't understand why asking people to eat a well-balanced vegetarian diet is considered drastic, while it is medically conservative to cut people open and put them on cholesterol-lowering drugs for the rest of their lives."
-Dean Ornish, MD

I have no doubt that it is a part of the destiny of the human race, in its gradual improvement, to leave off eating animals.
-Henry David Thoreau
(The philosophical icon behind the creation of WADN - "Walden 1120": the ancester of Troubadour 1700.)
